About Off-Yello

Hi Everyone!

Off Yello is the official print publication of the University of Oregon's Asian Pacific American Student Union (APASU).

The publication's mission is to showcase writing, photography, and artwork by Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans. There is an abundance of talent among us, and we love serving as a creative outlet for all. We publish work by those who are not only in APASU, but in other cultural groups as well, such as the Vietnamese Student Association, Japanese Student Organization, Kultura Pilipinas, Chinese Student Association, Korean Student Association, Hong Kong Student Association, and International Student Association. We also welcome submissions from people outside the University of Oregon - we're all family in the APIA community!

Since our editors change every year, the number of issues and the format of Off Yello varies year by year. As this year's Off Yello editor, I'm hoping to publish three issues this academic year, one every term.

Feel free to browse through samples of work from past issues, and of course, submit your work! (Please?) Also, don't hesitate to give us comments, suggestions, questions, or to simply say hi through our contact page!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Keep Smiling,
